Other Palm Offerings
What is the shipping provider you use?
Usually we ship USPS (Priority Mail), however in California we sometimes use UPS.
Will my order be sent in pots or bareroot?
We ship our palms bareroot in Sphagnum Peat Moss or similar medium.  We also dip
our bareroots in a special vitamin B1 solution before shipping.
When will my order ship?
We ship orders every Tuesday after payment has cleared. *please note that occasionally
during peak season (spring/summer) our volume of orders are high and slight delays might occur.
Do you accept credit cards? What payment methods do you use?
We accept Visa or MasterCard, PayPal, personal check or money order.
*note - payments must clear our bank first before orders are shipped.
What type of soil should I use to pot my bareroot palms?
Since Home Improvement Stores are located in almost every metropolitan area of the
US, we recommend purchasing a 'Palm & Cactus Mix'; which is already pre-mixed for
the good drainage palms desire.  If the mix is not available, we will recommend what
is best for you and the type of palm(s) you purchased.
Should I fertilize the palms when potting them?
Wait at least 7-10 days after you have placed vitamin B1 or similar root stimulator in
your initial transplanting.  This will allow your roots to activate in their new
environment so they can then receive the fertilizer.
Do you sell seeds?
We specialize in cultivation and growing plants from seeds; however (in some cases)
we can provide you some seeds upon special request.
Are your palms grown in a community pot?
We use a special technology to germinate our seeds in a community pot, however
every seedling is transferred/transplanted to its own liner/pot.  This allows a healthier
root system.
How much are the shipping charges?
Every package is packed, measured and weighed; shipping and handling charges
differ from order to order.  After your order is placed we will calculate shipping and
add it to the amount of the seedlings.
If you would like to know this amount before
placing your order, please email us or call us with your zip code for an exact quote.
Are there shipping delays?
Some reasons for delay might possibly be:
  • Unforeseen weather delays
  • Unusually high volume of orders
  • Unforeseen shipping provider delays
  • Could have possibly given us wrong address
Why do you include measurements with your gallon sizes?
We include sizes/heights with all of our palm selections to ensure that our customers
are aware of what they are buying.  Some growers do not do this and we believe that
it can be deceptive to the customer, since smaller plants/trees can be potted in larger
containers.  We would like to give an overall height so our customers can receive a
good visual of what they are purchasing.
Where are you located? Can we take a look at your palms?
Beginning in January 2010 we will no longer have our seedling yard  in Rainbow, CA.
We will be located in DeLuz, CA (border of North San Diego County and Temecula).
If you would like to make a purchase you can give us a call and make an appointment
to visit us.  Please call us at 951.834.8707.  We are a family-owned and operated
small business.

If you are interested in purchasing larger palms; we are unique as we deliver the best
